Anders Thomas Jensen

You got to have a concept of man as a good creature to tell a story like this. Rousseaunism and the Myth of the Bon Savage, (perhaps) blended with virtue ethics allows for an approach to criminal behavior as originating in social malaises rather than individual ones. If the criminal is the result of an unfortunate childhood, bad parenting or family neurosis, what is needed to correct him is to go back to nature, the cosmos and God. Rehabilitation is achieved by getting close to wilderness, the soil and its products; the elementals of nature and a religious approach to life.

A. T. Jensen Biography

Try "Flickering Lights" and "Adam's Apples". I just watched them.
